Arlington House Museum

Located on Queen Street in Speightstown, Arlington House Museum tells the story of Barbados across three interactive floors of a restored 1750 coral rubblestone townhouse. Exhibits span the merchant life of Speightstown, the plantation economy, and the island's seafaring history, with audiovisual and hands-on features throughout.

Visits are self-guided with a brief introduction on arrival. Guided tours are available in high season at no additional charge.

Photography is only permitted on the ground floor.

Groups of 10 or more are asked to contact the museum in advance to arrange their visit.

Location & Parking:

The museum sits in the heart of Speightstown and is easily reached by bus, taxi, or car. While Arlington House has no on-site parking, the free public car park off Queen Street is just a 2-3 minute walk from the museum.
