For over 27 years, Sitar has been serving a vibrant mix of North and South Indian cuisine, shaped by coastal Keralan roots and a strong focus on fresh seafood, slow-cooked meats, and balanced spice.
The menu moves between rich, slow-cooked classics and lighter, spice-led dishes, with favourites like lamb samosas, mahi mahi fish curry, rogan josh, and butter chicken. Lamb is a standout here, slow-cooked for hours to bring out deep flavour and tenderness, while tandoori dishes are marinated with ginger, garlic, yoghurt, and spices for a juicy, aromatic finish. Seafood also plays a central role, reflecting the chef’s upbringing, with prawns, squid, and fish featuring across the menu.
Dishes are prepared with a lighter touch, using olive oil in place of heavier fats wherever possible, allowing the spices to remain clean and well-defined.

The bar is a destination in its own right, known for Indian-inspired cocktails like its signature tamarind rum punch, alongside a selection of classic favourites. Wine and spirits are also popular, making it just as suited for a casual drink as a full meal.
Inside, soft lighting, warm red walls, and a gentle soundtrack of Indian music create a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, while Friday nights bring a livelier energy with DJs and dancing into the early hours.
