Harry Bayley Observatory
Stargazing at the Eastern Caribbean's Only Observatory
Friday evenings
The observatory is open to the public on Friday evenings from 7pm, weather permitting. Sessions include a presentation on astronomy followed by sky viewing through the telescopes. On a typical session, one or two planets and several deep-sky objects are observed. No advance booking required.

Group bookings
The observatory accommodates schools, scout troops, guide groups, and community organizations. Sessions include guided tours, telescope viewings, and educational presentations. Contact admin@hbo.bb to arrange.
International Astronomy Day
Each April or May, the Barbados Astronomical Society hosts free educational activities as part of International Astronomy Day. Details at hbo.bb.
Membership
Membership of the Barbados Astronomical Society is open to anyone interested in astronomy. Members receive free entry to Friday evening sessions and access to special events.
