Andromeda Botanic Gardens

Private tours at Andromeda allow visitors to explore the gardens in a way that caters to their own particular interests, whether that may be focused on spotting wildlife such as butterflies and hummingbirds; ethnobotany, or the medicinal use of plants. The Standard Experience tours include collection and return to accommodation by taxi, lunch, and a 2-hour private tour adapted to participants’ specific interests. Maximum group size is 10 people, and booking is required to arrange a bespoke experience.

The Andromeda Ethnobotanical Experience requires a minimum of five people and includes transport, drinks, food, and a guided tour of the gardens. A coach collects guests from a single location and returns them after the visit. On arrival, participants are greeted with a cold drink and a short introduction from the curator.

Guests select their meal from the on-site kitchen, Wildlight, before taking a guided tour of the Ethnobotanical Garden and other parts of Andromeda. The experience engages the senses, highlighting the plants’ uses, aromas, and cultural significance. After the tour, guests enjoy their meal and a cold drink, including the curator’s rum punch, before returning to their pickup point.
