Stade's Rum Distillery

Stade's Rum Distillery sits on Brighton Beach in Bridgetown: a working distillery, a serious rum range, and a beach club, all on one historic site. Founded in 1893 and home to the world's oldest rum-producing copper pot still in operation, this is not a theme park version of rum-making. On the distillery tour, you wear a hard hat, walk past working forklifts, taste rum straight from the barrel, and climb ladders to look directly into the fermentation vats.

Both experiences include a guided rum tasting on a deck at the edge of the beach, with the Caribbean Sea directly in front of you, and full beach club access for the rest of the day.
