Ride through the Surf or the Hills, for beginners to experts
How else can you see remote parts of the island while remaining one with nature?
Horseback is the best way to visit the remote, secluded interior, and to enjoy galloping through the surf on a beach.
Jahworks offers lessons and shorter introductory tours for those who are new to or have little experience with horses. All the equine partners are very patient with their riders and are boarded and treated in accordance with animal welfare guidelines. In order to help the horses, a strict 240 lb weight limit is enforced on riders.
For those who are more able riders there are longer tours through the hills and country side to the beautiful Morgan Lewis beach where you get the opportunity to ride through the surf at your most comfortable and enjoyable pace.
Groups up to 5 are taken an private or semi-private guided tours around the eastern side of the island, and you can choose whether to remain in the islands interior hills or head for the beach and surf. The duration of each tour will depend on the level of riders experience, and the options selected.
Jahworks also offers specially customized options for events, full-moon night rides, and if requested picnic rides where food and drink can be ordered and provided.
Hard hats are included, though you are welcome to use your own.
Long trousers and closed toe shoes are recommended.
