Tucked along Barbados’ scenic South Coast, Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary is a protected wetland spanning over 35 acres and home to the island’s largest inland lake.
Designated a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance, the sanctuary plays a vital role in preserving one of Barbados’ most significant ecosystems.
As the island’s largest remaining red and white mangrove area, Graeme Hall supports a rich diversity of birdlife, reptiles, and marine species, while helping maintain the natural balance of the coastal environment. Its ongoing conservation efforts ensure this rare habitat is protected and appreciated for generations to come.
